About Angeline Bell
Angeline Bell is a Malaysian-born piano teacher and composer based in Crawley, West Sussex, UK. She began composing piano music in March 2022 during a period of isolation with COVID-19. What started as a personal outlet quickly gained attention—her works were soon picked up by Editions Musica Ferrum, who published My Lyrical Notebook, My Quirky Notebook, My Garden Notebook, My Seaside Notebook, My Forest Notebook and Echoes of the Orient. My Garden Notebook was nominated for the Art of Piano Education Best Contemporary Repertoire in 2024.
Angeline’s piano books have received glowing reviews from respected educators and reviewers including Michael McMillan (Pianist Magazine), Andrew Eales, David Barton, and Karen Marshall. Her music has been featured by popular YouTube pianists and educators such as Julian Lambert, Anna Heller, Stefan Wyatt, Nicola Cantan, Zongyi He, and Amie Webster.
23 of her piano pieces have been broadcast by BBC Sounds, including The Sleeping Forecast, Piano Focus, Soundwaves, Classical Wind Down and BBC Radio 3’s Night Tracks. She is signed to Digitality Records, Blue Spiral Records, and ARC Music / Naxos World who released the album, Echoes of the Orient on July 25, 2025.
Angeline began playing the piano at age six and earned her ATCL diploma by sixteen. She later graduated with a degree in Music from the University of East Anglia and studied piano with Ruth Harte at the Royal Academy of Music. After completing her PGCE, she taught music in secondary school before founding the Bell Piano School from her home studio.
